UNIVERSAL
REMOTE
Programming Instructions
The universal remote control is used with the CISCO 330 and CISCO 430 set top box (STB). A new universal
remote needs to be programmed to both the set top box (STB) and to the TV or other device. This remote can
be programmed for use with more than one device. It can be programmed for the TV, DVD, VCR, or use the
AUX button to program other devices. The quick programming instructions can also be found on the back of
the Universal Remote. The device keys or buttons are located along the top row of the remote. You must be
in front of the STB and the TV or other device when programming the remote.
Programming the remote to the STB box programs the remote to control the channel up/down and other
remote control button functions like guide, menu, last, exit, etc. Programming the remote to the TV will
