Business-Grade Wireless Security and Privacy

The new wireless security measures employed by ZyXEL client adapters allow only authorized

users to access the network in order to protect data from being tapped during wireless

transmissions. In addition to the basic WEP encryption, ZyXEL client adapters equip with

advanced security measures such as 802.1x authentication and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA

/WPA2) to enhance network protection and user privacy. WPA uses partial 802.11i, while WPA2

uses full 802.11i which is the most secure mechanism available today

The ZyXEL client adapters with multimedia supports can improve Internet experience from

plain data transmission to rich multimedia enjoyment smoothly without compromising quality.

The 802.11e WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) technology employed by the ZyXEL client adapter

enables multimedia applications, such as Internet phone (VoIP), video (video-on-demand) and

audio (Internet radio) to secure the sufficient bandwidth shared on a wireless network
