3.5 Set up the LIVE555 Media Server and Demo Content

Take the following steps to install the LIVE555 Media Server and the demonstration video

content on your computer.

1 Locate the LIVE555 zip file on the CD that came with your STB.

2 Using a file compression/decompression tool such as WinZip or PKZIP, unzip the

LIVE555 file to your computer’s D:\Content folder. If this folder does not already exist,

create it.

3.6 Set up the STB

Next, you need to configure the STB to use your computer as its media server.

1 Ensure that the STB is set up and working correctly, as shown in the Quick Start Guide.

2 Press the blue button on the remote controller three times.

3 Enter the STB’s password in the screen that appears. The default is 123456. Select OK.
