3. For the rest of this page, you don’t need set any parameters. Click on Apply at the bottom of the

page to save this setting. If you are interested, refer to the User’s Guide for further information

on additional settings.

4. From the main menu, go to “Administrator >> VLAN Configuration”.

5. Initially there will be no VLAN entries. Because we will need to isolate each VES-1124, each

port will need to be on its own VLAN. Begin creating the VLANs by clicking the Add button.

6. Begin by giving the VLAN group a name (ex.: VES1). Make the first group VLAN ID 1. Add

ONLY port 1 to this VLAN group by selecting it from the left column and using the Add button to

move it to the right column. When finished, click the Apply button to save the VLAN group.

5. When you are finished you will be returned to the main VLAN Configuration menu, with your

new VLAN group now present.
