Wi-Fi Protected Set-up

The WPA/WPA2 feature guarantees secure data

transfer between the router and the WLAN

client. The wireless router supports WPS: this

way, by pushing the button between the router

and the client, a PIN code for authentication

is automatically generated. Even without any

expert knowledge, a secure wireless network for

data transfer can be established easily.

New Web GUI

The new Web GUI is one important feature of the

NBG-419N. With its fast function navigation the

user-friendly interface allows an easy con guration

and setup of the home router. It provides the “Easy

Mode” for navigating functions, basic setup tasks

and a comprehensive network map. With the “Easy

Mode” which simpli es system con guration tasks,

users can enable or disable frequent setup options

such as game engine, power saving, content

 ltering and bandwidth management with just

one click.

Router and Switch

The wireless router ZyXEL NBG-419N is easily

connected to any existing internet access point

through the WAN port. Its four Fast Ethernet

interfaces cover the requirements of many

multimedia users. The integrated Stateful Packet

Inspection  rewall increases security against

makes it possible to turn the wireless LAN on or

o , as desired. As an added extra, a scheduler

allows the user to de ne desired operating

WLAN 802.11n V2.0

The current version of the WLAN standard

802.11n theoretically allows a data transfer rate

of up to 300Mbps. However, in practice, speeds

of over 100Mbps (close to that of Fast Ethernet)

are attained. The WPA/WPA2 encryption ensures

secure data transfer to all WLAN clients.
