Used one as soon as the NeXT system arrived (never used the adhesive strips). I bought so many to protect my
expensive investment, not knowing how long such covers last and bought some Hooleon adhesive keycaps to
possibly stick on one of these keyboard covers for a remapped Dvorak keyboard.

Unfortunately in 1993 HSD no longer had custom black cases made for the rare color UMAX UC630 that was
their Scan-X line, so this is the platinum-ish color and not the black HSD logo-ed UC630. The sheet feeder was so
rare that it was probably never custom made in black for HSD. The scanner and feeder are packed in two colored
cardboard boxes fit inside two heavy brown boxes with HSD shipping labels and one still has its original packing
slip intact on it.Ãâ!"Â I do have a friend who is storing some black HSD scanners purchased during a glut of
NeXT related sales in the mid-90s. They may function perfectly or they could be used to place the internals of mine
into, so it is possible for you to make a nominal purchase from him to make a system matching black scanner if that
was desired.
