8.3. Telnet
In addition to the LCT, the same menu-driven mode through the
Telnet is also provided. User can remote access the MSAP2000
and use the same operational mode to conduct management of
System functions such as Operation, Administration, Maintenance
and Provisioning (OAM&P).
MSAP2000’s menu-driven mode through the Telnet allows for
management of the following functions:
Configuration
Performance
Fault
Maintenance
Security
Administration
Logout
Help
For security reason, the LCT supports username and password
authentication. The default username is “admin”, while the
default password is “0000”. It is recommended that the user
should change the default password during initial login, and then
create new username and password with different privilege if
necessary.
