Remote Node TCP/IP Configuration
This chapter shows you how to configure the
TCP/IP parameters of a remote node.
A typical LAN-to-LAN application is to use your Prestige to connect a branch office to the headquarters, as
depicted in the following diagram.
6.1 LAN-to-LAN Application

For the branch office, you need to configure a remote node in order to dial out to the headquarters.
Additionally, you may also need to define static routes if some services reside beyond the immediate
remote LAN.
6.1.1 Editing TCP/IP Options
Follow the steps below to edit

shown next.
In Menu 11.1, move the cursor to the
Edit IP/IPX/Bridge
, then press the [SPACE BAR] to toggle and set
the value to
