Chapter 4 Device Information

P-663H-51 User’s Guide

Click Device Info > DHCP to display the following screen. This is only available when the

ZyXEL Device’s DHCP server function is enabled. The DHCP table shows current DHCP

client information (including IP Address, Host Name and MAC Address) of all network

clients using the ZyXEL Device’s DHCP server.

LABEL DESCRIPTION

Host Name This field displays the computer host name.

MAC Address The MAC (Media Access Control) or Ethernet address on a LAN (Local Area

Network) is unique to your computer (six pairs of hexadecimal notation).

A network interface card such as an Ethernet adapter has a hardwired address that is

assigned at the factory. This address follows an industry standard that ensures no

other adapter has a similar address.

IP Address This field displays the IP address assigned to the DHCP client.

Expires This field displays for how much longer the host has the lease for the assigned IP

address.
